Purpose:
This role drives the deployment of training strategies ensures harmonization and advances a continuous improvement agenda while overseeing the execution of activities aligned with local and franchise priorities and business needs. The Senior Training Manager is accountable for delivering world-class performance in quality compliance innovation and operational efficiency.

The Senior Training Manager partners with site cross functional leaders and other key site stakeholders to develop and maintain training processes that ensure a continuous high-quality and reliable supply of products to the market. This role ensures strong Quality System performance and collaborates closely with Compliance teams to maintain a consistent state of inspection readiness.
Additionally the Senior Training Manager identifies opportunities to enhance training technologies and capabilities driving their implementation across the sites in partnership with Training Center of Excellence.
The critical outcomes driven by this role include the successful delivery of all Training-related business commitments across Quality Service Financial performance and Talent development.
Owns the site Training strategy and leads planning efforts to meet current and future business needs including the enhancement and integration of new capabilities. Influences and shapes the strategic focus priorities and outcomes of sponsored programs to ensure successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
Leads the Training processes and ensures a continuous state of compliance readiness across the site.
Owns the end-to-end planning and execution of Training requirements for the site including oversight of Training performance metrics and overall training effectiveness.
Leads the resolution of escalations related to the QMS Compliance Remediation efforts and audit strategies associated with training ensuring timely and effective closure.
Develops submits and strategically manages the Training organizations budget ensuring optimal resource allocation financial stewardship and alignment with business priorities.
Leads talent development and strategic workforce planning for assigned sites ensuring current and future business needs are met through capability enhancement skill development and the integration of new competencies.
Communicates business-related issues risks and opportunities to the next level of management in a timely and effective manner.
Ensures that all personnel under his/her supervision comply with health safety and environmental guidelines and that the necessary resources are available adequate and properly maintained.
Provides timely support for Franchise Training initiatives and projects offering strategic feedback during project planning and actively enabling successful execution at the site level.
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal State local and Company regulations policies and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelors degree required; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
Masters or Doctorate in a related field preferred.
10-12 years of experience in the Medical Devices Pharmaceutical or Healthcare Industry.
Preferred fields of study include Science Learning & Development or related disciplines.
Business-focused leader with a strong compliance background and a proven ability to make timely sound and effective decisions even when operating with limited data.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence inspire and build effective partnerships across the organization.
Skilled in developing coaching and empowering employees at all levels to reach their full potential.
Requires fluency in English and Spanish with additional language skills considered a plus.
Ability to effectively negotiate and interact with representatives from various government agencies and external auditors.
Proficiency in computer systems and associated software applications.
Proven ability to manage complexity in dynamic and crossfunctional environments.
Knowledge of or certification in TWI (Training Within Industry) methodology is preferred.
