Responsibilities:
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for NOC Operations covering Transmission (TX) RAN and the Technical Help Desk.
- Manage customer escalations and expectations developing and executing improvement plans to consistently meet SLAs and KPIs.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Transmission Networks (SDH DWDM OTN) to ensure stable operations.
- Lead a team of 50 engineers identifying knowledge gaps and driving competence-building initiatives.
- Support the Service Manager in SLA/KPI mitigation and formal sign-offs.
- Conduct post-mortem reviews for critical incidents and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
- Drive automation implementation to increase operational efficiency within the NOC.
- Participate in governance meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 12-15 years of experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 mobile service providers in a Network Operation Centre (NOC).
- 4-5 years of experience managing large teams (50 engineers).
- Hands-on expertise in Transmission technologies: SDH DWDM and OTN network operations.
- Deep understanding of telecom domains: 2G 3G LTE and 5G.
- Proficiency in Vendor NMS/EMS platforms (e.g. Huawei Alcatel Adva Ericsson Nokia).
- Experience in transmission circuit provisioning and network optimization.
- Solid understanding of mobile backhaul networks (MPLS Ethernet).
- Strong knowledge of Change and Problem Management frameworks.
- BTech degree in Electronics & Communication (ECE) Computer Science or Telecommunications.
- CCNA Certification is required.
