CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the High School Athletic Ticket Manager. This position is responsible for coordinating overseeing and accounting for ticket sales at all home athletic events where admission is charged. The Athletic Ticket Manager serves as the primary point of contact for admission workers and ensures accurate handling and reporting of all event-related cash. This is a differential contract position and is considered Category A (See Appendix B/Schedule of Differentials on page 54 of the SCEA Agreement).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign schedule and track admission workers for all home athletic contests requiring paid admission.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for admission workers before during and after events.
- Coordinate with the Business Office to ensure appropriate cash is prepared and available for events.
- Collect count and verify all cash receipts following each event.
- Securely turn in all collected funds to the Business Office in accordance with district procedures.
- Communicate cash totals and profit information to the Athletic Department after each event.
- Maintain accurate records related to ticket sales staffing and cash handling.
- Follow all district policies and procedures related to financial controls and event management.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by athletic schedules
- Experience with cash handling bookkeeping or event management preferred
Work Schedule:
Hours vary based on athletic event schedules including evenings and weekends.
