This position is for our Extendicare Kirkland Lake Home located in Kirkland Lake Ontario.

What youll be doing:

• Answers telephone and place outgoing calls.
• Performs clerical work and maintains records as required and performs clerical work as assigned from all Department Managers.
• Maintain files/records such as current and/or discharged resident files inservice attendance records etc. Processed orders or requisitions book resident appointments etc. as well as escort and transportation for appointments
• Maintain the inventory levels of nursing supplies forms and equipment.
• Deliver supplies and must be able to lift 15lbs or more.
• Adhere to established department policies and procedures regarding quality assurance fire safety environment and infection control.
• Communicates pertinent information to staff residents visitors etc.
• Participate in facility meetings as assigned. Attends inservice education programs.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

What you bring:

• Administrative skills typing and filing. Computer skills required.
• Ability to work safely following established safety practices and procedures.
• Excellent organization skills multi-tasking ability and self-motivation.
• Provide a clear Criminal record check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Business Administration Diploma preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication presentation and organizational skills.
