Position Summary
Participate in the design development and testing ofNxStageMedicals software products and/or related tools.
Core Responsibilities
Assignmentwill vary but may include embedded SW development Windows Linuxtoolsand/or scripting projects.
Add new functionality as needed along with supporting documentation and unit tests.
Developsoftwaretest bench setups totest hardware modules
Ensure all activities conform to design controls.Ensureall analysis design and testing activities are properly documented.
Debuggingnew designsand developing reliability improvements to existing &new designs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidate for BS inComputer Engineering Electrical EngineeringSoftware Engineeringor related
Programming in C/Clanguage
Programming in scripting languageslike Python
Embedded programming experienceagainsthardware/electronic interfaces
Ability to understand electronic schematic diagrams
Technical knowledge in software development methodologies design and implementation
Beginning analytical and design skills
Basic knowledge of project lifecycles software development environments and source control techniques
