Job Summary

Required Education and Experience: Bachelors degree AND:

  • 36 months in health program development.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelors degree for a total of 84 months of related experience.

Certifications or Licenses: None

Skills:

  • Must be able to create and deliver effective training presentations
  • Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives
  • Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students faculty and staff
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Advanced computer skills with wide knowledge of business software
  • Ability to speak read and write clear concise English

At the Stephenson Cancer Center we have an exciting new job opportunity that could be right for you! The Health Education Coordinator - COE researches develops implements and evaluates Health Promotion programs.

Duties:

  • Programs focus on relevant health topics for college students and currenttopics in general health care.
  • Coordinates and facilitates Health Promotion outreach events and group presentations.
  • Represents OU Health Services and Student Affairs at health fairs campus-wide events health fairs and in the university Health Services through print marketing and social media.
  • Promotes OU Health Services through print and electronic advertising and marketing.
  • Interfaces with university departments outside organizations and state/government agencies to promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Conducts health needs analysis of client groups and target audiences including students faculty and staff.
  • Collaborates with campus and community departments to provide wellness campaigns.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
