As Project Manager you will be responsible for driving or supporting broad range of strategic initiatives from concept to execution collaborating closely with senior leadership. This role demands a deep understanding of business operations strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities to create executive presentations analyze performance and report on metrics. You will be crucial in driving successful outcomes by fostering collaboration and aligning with Manulife Banks strategic vision. As a member of the Strategy Governance and Controls team your expertise will be deployed to support the Banks highest priorities allowing you to continuously tackle the next challenge.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead strategic business initiatives from development to execution with senior leadership.
Assist in decision-making planning and implementing strategic initiatives.
Creating managing and owning initiative-level end-to-end project plans including dependency management.
Using your organizational and analytical skills to complete detailed roadmaps milestone views and reporting asks in multiple tools to serve a variety of stakeholders.
Identifying articulating and profiling risks and issues with the goal of sourcing workarounds solutions and decisions.
Embracing change and bringing new ideas forward to help improve execution excellence delivery predictability and optimization of workflows.
Communicating effectively and maintaining appropriate governance and transparency of initiatives in alignment with Enterprise governance and agile ways of working.
Adapting quickly to changing priorities and timelines while keeping business needs in focus.
Actively participating in an agile environment involving team members with varying degrees of expertise and specialization.
Motivating and inspiring teams to achieve shared goals.
Improve processes and optimize procedures for better efficiency and productivity of planning and executing strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred; supplemented by 5 years of progressive project management experience demonstrating strategic and operational success
Prior experience leading projects through a period of transformation or change is an asset.
Ability to think strategically assess alternatives for short and long-term impacts and act decisively.
Robust knowledge MS applications (Excel Word PowerPoint Visio etc.) is a must
Adaptable flexible and comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic business environment with a positive can-do attitude
Exceptional communications skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Strong critical thinking analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build and manage relationships at executive and senior levels.
Experience working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or equivalent certification is an asset
Knowledge of project planning and tracking tools
Confident presentation and facilitation skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
Proven experience in banking consulting and fintech with an entrepreneurial spirit

$103270.00 CAD - $153270.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
