Job Summary
A high-performing and excellent secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an ambitious and creative Head of Photography to lead its successful Art and Photography provision from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Photography Teacher ready to step into leadership or an experienced Head of Photography looking to further develop a thriving creative department.

The Role
The school is looking for an inspiring and forward-thinking Head of Photography who can lead with creativity and vision while maintaining excellent classroom practice.
Responsibilities of the Head of Photography include:
Leading and developing Photography across KS3KS5
Teaching engaging and imaginative Photography lessons including digital and practical work
Driving curriculum innovation and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
Organising exhibitions showcases and creative events
Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the Art and Photography team

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Head of Photography will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong experience teaching Photography across KS3KS5
Demonstrate leadership experience or readiness to lead a subject area
Be passionate about creativity visual arts and student development
Have excellent organisational and communication skills
