We are looking to appoint a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and student-focused secondary school in Salford. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will work with students who require additional behavioural support providing guidance mentoring and structured interventions. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour supporting inclusion and helping to create a safe and productive learning environment.
You will work closely with pastoral teams teachers and external agencies to support students both academically and emotionally. The role requires strong interpersonal skills patience and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and group mentoring for students
Support students with behavioural and emotional needs
Work with staff to implement behaviour strategies
Monitor and track student progress
Liaise with parents and external agencies
Promote a positive and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
Experience working with young people (school setting desirable)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
Resilience patience and a positive attitude
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
