At Draxton Teruel our foundry plant located in Utrillas we are looking to incorporate a Process Engineer.

In this role you will be responsible for planning organizing and controlling manufacturing/production processes and methods in line with management guidelines and established procedures with the aim of continuously improving and optimizing operational efficiency.

This position reports both hierarchically and functionally to the Plant Management.


Key responsibilities:

  • You will lead and implement process engineering projects both in new installations and in the improvement and optimization of existing ones ensuring proper technical execution and alignment with industrial objectives.

  • You will design and develop manufacturing processes for new products including the definition and updating of production layouts in coordination with project teams and Plant Engineering.

  • You will drive continuous improvement in production processes identifying opportunities to optimize efficiency quality and costs as well as correcting deviations in existing processes.

  • You will lead the methods and time management area defining standards procedures and work criteria ensuring proper implementation and compliance on the shop floor.

  • You will provide technical support to Maintenance and Engineering departments contributing to improving the reliability availability and performance of equipment and installations.

  • You will participate in the definition monitoring and implementation of the Annual Investment Plan coordinating suppliers and external companies to ensure deadlines quality and expected return.

  • You will develop technical documentation drawings and designs using CAD and 3D modeling tools for processes and installations.

  • You will ensure compliance with safety environmental and energy regulations (including ISO 50001) promoting safe efficient and sustainable working environments.


To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Technical education.

  • Previous experience in similar roles within industrial environments.
