The Role
As aPortfolio Controller you will play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of large complex programmes by leading teams and embedding strong programme controls across Integrated Delivery Teams (IDTs).
Day-to-day youll be fully responsible for the control of the Portfolio and leading the controls function inside the Portfolio to ensure the overall Portfolio is deliverable. Ensure risk resource de-confliction prioritisation conflict and dependencies are managed across the Portfolio to ensure business objectives are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the allocation of projects/programmes into the Portfolio (in partnership with the Portfolio Manager) and then prioritise the project within the portfolio to understand impacts and make appropriate decisions
- Lead the controllers in the monthly project and programme controls lifecycle ensuring they understand risk prioritisation impact and conflicts
- Contribute to the business planning processes for example OBP and budgeting to understand the impact to the Portfolio
- Develop and maintain positive engagement with Portfolio Manager and Project/Programme Managers within the Portfolio

Essential qualifications for the Portfolio Controller:
- ECITB L6 Diploma in Project Controls practice and techniques (RQF) or equivalent
- Recognised expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Called on by senior leaders for advice and guidance across the business

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough site.Hybrid working patterns are available with an expectation of 3 days onsite per week.
