Our services in Lewishamhelp vulnerable young people whoare homeless or are threatened with homelessnessto live independently. We can offer employment within an established team who can help you build your knowledge and experience. Sessional work can be a short term commitment or something that leads you to an exciting career.
Our sessional workers are an integral part of our team providing consistency to our service users when our permanent staff are absent.
Our aim is to inspire the people we support to be ambitious and embrace new opportunities. We enable the people we support to have new experiences and develop new skills to become independent and make a positive contribution to society.
The purpose of our services is to transform the lives of Lewishams most vulnerable young people and our vision is to ensure every person in our services is given the support they need to have a chance at a brighter future.

What you will do
Every shift will offer a range of exciting new opportunities for you to make a difference. Tasks you may get to support with will depend on the day of the week you work and the time you work.
During the day you may;
Support a Young Person to make a GP appointment
Complete Health and Safety and fire safety checks
Help someone tidy their home
Help with a benefit claim
Work with other professionals
Create action and safety plans
During the evening you may;
Host a communal meal
Arrange a film night
Help complete an application for college
Plan future events and activities
Help create a meal plan and shopping list
Offer advice and guidance
During the night you may;
We dont do personal care restraints or community supervision. Our young people are capable individuals we treat with respect actively preparing them for independence.
Theres paperwork involved but its all about documenting their progress!
Your availability will be matched to our available shifts.
You can commit to shifts on the day or in advance.
The dress code for this role is smart casual.
