We are looking for a Financial Controller to ensure stability accuracy and control across our financial operations during a 6-month parental leave period.
This role is about continuity and control. You will step into a live environment take ownership of core financial processes and ensure the business runs without disruption.
You are not here to observeyou are here to own the numbers protect the business and provide clarity to leadership.
ACTIONS
1. Financial Control & Closing (The Core)
- Own and coordinate monthly closings across all entities
- Ensure full accuracy of P&L and financial data
- Monitor budget performance and flag risks early
- Act as the point of control for financial integrity across the business
2. Reporting & Business Insight (The Clarity)
- Deliver clear and reliable monthly reporting to leadership and Board
- Translate financial data into actionable insights
- Support group consolidation and ensure consistency across entities
- Identify deviations and support decision-making with data
3. Treasury & Cash Management (The Stability)
- Maintain full visibility of cash position across entities
- Oversee short-term cash flow planning and liquidity needs
- Coordinate payments and ensure alignment with operational priorities
- Ensure financial commitments are controlled and anticipated
4. Compliance & Audit (The Control)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Coordinate with external advisors and auditors
- Maintain alignment with regulatory requirements across markets
5. Business Integration & Continuity (The Bridge)
- Work closely with Operations and internal teams to ensure financial alignment
- Act as a key finance partner to the business
- Ensure clean documentation and a smooth handover at the end of the period

REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years in Financial Controlling Audit or similar roles
- Strong understanding of accounting reporting and financial operations
- Experience in multi-entity or international environments
- Strong Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g. SAP) is a plus
- Fluent in English and Spanish (C1 or higher)
