Security Officer Patrol Operations

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Elkridge MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a dynamic tech and media location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. This role offers the chance to work with a team that is agile reliable and innovative while putting people first and acting with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $19.61 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings offices parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to verify that entry and exit activity aligns with site protocols for employees visitors and deliveries.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues hazards and policy violations and/or assisting with directions and general questions from staff and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
