As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Greenville SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help monitor entry points manage access control procedures and support a professional welcoming this role you will remain visible conduct routine patrols respond to security-related concerns and deliver strong customer service and communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by following site-specific access procedures and supporting security-related protocols at an industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials authorize access for approved personnel and report access concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate contact.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility production areas and perimeter to help identify potential concerns and support security-related policy compliance.
- Communicate with site leadership and/or Allied Universal personnel regarding visitor processing delivery access restricted areas and other access control-related activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
