Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Part-Time in Dallas TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. You will respond to alarms and service calls document activity and support store teams and guests with clear respectful communication. This post requires a valid drivers license and Level III Armed Certification backed by Allied Universal values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests associates and vendors by carrying out Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floors entrances loading areas and parking lots to help to deter suspicious activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation coordination with local law enforcement and/or management and direction of foot traffic as needed.
- Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal requirements applicable licensing and use of force guidelines including weapon retention practices and secure handling.
- Document security-related incidents observations and patrol activity in written reports and electronic systems and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have Level III Armed Certification Texas Only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
