Job Summary
The job profile for this position isSoftware Engineering Advisorwhich is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role withCigna-Evernorth Services Inc.
Responsibilities-
Serve as a key contributor to the team to design build test and deliver large-scale software applications systems platforms services and technologies in the data engineering space.
Drive major deliverables across all aspects of software delivery and be responsible for delivering software end-to-end starting from requirements to development into production.
Deliver data engineering toolchains platform capabilities and reusable patterns through a hands-on engineering approach in the Databricks environment.
Adhere to software engineering best practices with an automation-first approach building a recommendations model for a batch process to synch up member information from a real-time process by utilizing PySpark AWS DynamoDB and deploying it via a CI/CD pipeline for production readiness.
Develop translation logic and cache logic in the batch process to convert data from ETL workflow to the required JSON structure to be consumed in front-end CRM and streamline the entire process from retrieving data ETL batch process and loading data to DynamoDB tables via AWS Glue Job and Airflow.
Hybrid work schedule.
The salary for this position is $116148.22 per year and this role is eligible for standard company benefits.
Qualifications-
Requires a Masters degree in Computer Science Information Management or a related field and 1 year of cloud development experience (or a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Management or a related field and 3 years of cloud development experience). Must have experience with: Amazon S3; Amazon RDS (Relational Database Service); developing and deploying cloud solution roll outs to Enterprise Production environments; reverse engineering code; Agile (SAFe); Apache Spark; Delta Lake; SQL; Python; Databricks; and data pipeline and ETL design.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position we anticipate offering an annual salary of 111700 - 186100 USD / yearly depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
