Senior Project Manager Single BOM
The Role
The Single BOM Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the implementation of the Single Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Management this role you will partner with IT vendors and crossfunctional teams to deliver scalable integrated solutions that create a single source of truth for product data.
You will lead the program from planning through execution shaping delivery strategy managing change and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities. The ideal candidate is energized by complexity skilled at orchestrating diverse stakeholders and thrives in transforming ambiguous environments into structured actionable plans.
What Youll Do
Lead endtoend delivery of Single BOM and Engineering Change Management.
Define scope implementation plans resource needs and delivery timelines.
Identify crossfunctional risks dependencies and constraints; drive mitigation and escalation where needed.
Provide clear datadriven updates to senior leadership through compelling storytelling and KPIs.
Facilitate inclusive focused meetings with clear outcomes and strong followthrough.
Influence without authority to drive alignment decisions and execution across technical and nontechnical teams.
Champion effective change management practices to support adoption.
Apply Agile Waterfall or hybrid frameworks appropriately to meet program goals.
Model GM values fostering a culture of collaboration inclusion and continuous improvement.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
5 years of software or technology program/project management experience.
Proven success leading cross functional programs with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong mastery of Agile Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive execution.
Experience managing ambiguity and leading teams through change.
Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and diverse cultures.
What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with Jira Confluence or similar collaboration tools.
Familiarity with GMs Vehicle Engineering & Quality or Manufacturing Engineering systems and data flows.
