Electromechanical Assembly Technician- Mountain View CA (Onsite)
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join our Engineering Technical Services team.
In this role you will be responsible for the assembly testing and troubleshooting of complex high-precision electro-mechanical systems ensuring the quality and performance of our cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble precision electro-mechanical systems with tight tolerances
- Perform electrical wiring cable routing and terminations
- Align fit and assemble components using hand tools power tools and fixtures
- Install electrical/electronic components using soldering techniques
- Interpret blueprints schematics and technical documentation
- Conduct testing using oscilloscopes voltmeters and other instruments
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and performance issues
- Support fixture/jig design and process improvements
- Run test stations and document results accurately
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electromechanical assembly preferably with high-precision systems
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Hands-on expertise in soldering and electrical wiring
- Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes voltmeters etc.)
- Experience in process improvement or manufacturing efficiency (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
