Were working with a client looking for an IT Engineer with experience in PowerShell CMD endpoint management and deploying/maintaining complex software in a Windows environment. This is a fully on-site role.

Point of Sale and/or payments experience is Needed.

Position Overview

An organization is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to design build deploy and maintain technical products and platforms that support business operations and growth. This role blends systems engineering endpoint management and application support with a strong emphasis on Windows environments and enterprise software deployment. The ideal candidate is hands-on solutions-oriented and comfortable working across infrastructure applications and user-facing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design build test and maintain technical solutions and platforms supporting business objectives
Analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement optimization and scalability
Deploy manage and maintain complex software applications across Windows-based environments
Manage and support enterprise endpoints including configuration patching and performance optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and software issues to ensure high availability and performance
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and CMD to streamline operations
Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization of technical initiatives aligned with business needs
Design execute and maintain automated testing to ensure quality and reliability of solutions
Research and recommend improvements to systems tools and infrastructure
Document system configurations processes and technical solutions
Participate in project work and ongoing system maintenance activities as needed

Technical Environment & Preferred Experience

Strong experience in Windows environments (server and endpoint)
PowerShell and CMD scripting for automation and system management
Endpoint management tools (Intune SCCM or similar)
Software deployment and lifecycle management
Experience supporting or integrating Point of Sale (POS) systems (preferred)
Experience with payment processing systems or environments (preferred)
Understanding of enterprise infrastructure and application ecosystems

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
3 years of experience building deploying and maintaining technical solutions in a business environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
