Job Description

The Google Workspace Engineer will be responsible for managing securing and optimizing the organizations Google Workspace environment. This includes user management email systems integrations migrations and automation ensuring a seamless and secure digital workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

Administer Google Workspace (Gmail Drive Meet Calendar Admin Console)
Manage users groups roles and organizational units (OUs)
Implement and manage SSO / IAM integrations (Okta Azure AD)
Configure email routing SPF DKIM DMARC
Deploy and enforce security policies (DLP Vault endpoint management)
Lead migration projects (M365 / Exchange Google Workspace)
Automate tasks using GAM Apps Script APIs
Monitor system performance audit logs and security alerts
Provide L2/L3 support and troubleshoot complex issues
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards

Requirements

5 years of experience in Google Workspace Administration
Strong knowledge of Gmail Drive Admin Console and Google Vault
Experience with Identity & Access Management (SSO SAML OAuth)
Hands-on experience with email migration tools (BitTitan CloudM GWMME)
Understanding of DNS (MX SPF DKIM DMARC)
Experience with security & compliance frameworks (SOC2 HIPAA etc.)
Scripting/automation experience (Apps Script GAM APIs)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

Google Workspace Certification
Experience in enterprise-scale environments (1000 users)
Exposure to SIEM / security monitoring tools
Experience in hybrid environments (M365 Google)
