Cloud Solutions Consultant, National Security (NatSec) Professional Services (ProServe)

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

This is a hands-on technical role that requires an advanced software/systems engineering background.
Coding/automation and design/architecture skills are required!
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant
to join our team at AWS.
ProServe is a global organization of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes
when utilizing AWS. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to
execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of
offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also
deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices which cover a variety of solutions
technologies and industries.
As a Delivery Consultant you will work closely with customers to design implement and manage AWS
solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. Youll be a key player in driving
customer success throughout their cloud journey providing technical expertise and best practices across
the project lifecycle. Youll collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements assess current
infrastructure and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
As an experienced technology professional you will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing complex scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer
needs
Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring training and creating reusable
artifacts

- Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or equivalent
- Experience working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies including but not limited to Mainframe Serverless Containers or Cloud Operations
- 3 years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery experience
- Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
- Experience leading the design development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure network compute storage and virtualization experience
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
- AWS experience preferred with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g. EC2 S3 RDS Lambda IAM VPC CloudFormation)
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g. Terraform Python)
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and/or AWS DataSync

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
