RETAIL EXCELLENCE ANALYST INTERN

Global Travel Retail team

Coty is seeking a talented highly motivated intern to work with Coty Business Intelligence and Retail Excellence team within the Global Travel Retail team. The role should be a good fit for candidates interested in the field of travel retail and beauty industry with an analytical mindset and a strong attention to details.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Retail Excellence Analyst Intern you are responsible for supporting the team on various and diversified tasks related to our Retail Excellence Strategy.

You will help the Retail Insights and Development Manager on its operational daily tasks. You will also help analysing data coordinating projects providing customer support.

Your main focus:

• Support the implementation of our Retail Excellence Strategy across the three regions (Europe Asia Pacific Americas) ensuring alignment with brand and retail objectives.

• Lead and coordinate the rollout and continuous improvement of the Retail App including the deployment in the Americas and the optimization of existing implementations in Europe and Asia Pacific.

• Act as the main point of contact for retail teams worldwide supporting change management driving adoption of the Retail App and ensuring teams are effectively onboarded and supported.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth implementation testing issue resolution and ongoing improvements of retail tools.

• Analyse retail performance data to identify distribution gaps in-store opportunities and sales productivity improvements and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

• Develop and maintain automated reporting and distribution tools to improve operational efficiency (advanced Excel / Power Query).

The team consists of 4 people (3 in Pricing and Business Intelligence and 1 in Retail Excellence). You will work closely together and with several departments such as Global TR Marketing Sales Merchandising and their counterparts in the regions.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You have an analytical mind-set with problem solving skills and are interested in Travel Retail

and the beauty industry. As the Retail Excellence Intern you enjoy working with numbers and you get energy from working in a fast-paced diverse and international environment. Your qualifications:

• Graduated in Business Administration or Engineering

• 1-2 years experience in a role involving data analysis project coordination or retail support.

• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Power BI and Power Query or similar data tools is a plus.

• Basic understanding of data analysis with the ability to present data in a clear and actionable way.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a customer service mindset.

• Detail-oriented proactive and eager to learn and grow in a global retail environment.

• Have a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Fluent in English French is a plus.
