JOB OUTLINE

Lifeguard

Supervise swimming activities at the pool and ensure that policiesguidelines and safetyprocedures are followed.

Warn swimmers of improperactivities or dangerand enforce pool regulations and water safety policies.

Evaluate conditions for safetyand initiate aquaticsemergency action plan as required.

Ensure a clean and welcomeenvironment for members.

Greet and check-in members and theirguests.

Build rapport with members.

Conduct daily cleaning of pool deckgreen space and changerooms.

Conduct water tests to monitor poolchemistry when necessary.

Respond to any first aid emergenciesin the pool and surrounding area.

Maintain communication with supervisorystaff regarding any issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current National Lifeguard

Intermediate First Aid CPR-C and AEDCertification

Previous experience in an aquaticsfacility is an asset
