Role Summary and Impact

WPP Media is looking for a curious and analytical intern to join the Digital Data Analytics team supporting the analysis of digital content performance and social media conversations for leading global brands.

The intern will work alongside analysts and strategists to collect analyze and interpret digital and social data leveraging AI-driven platforms such as WPP Open to enhance data exploration insight generation and reporting. The role will contribute to transforming data into actionable insights for marketing content and communication strategies combining analytics consumer understanding and AI-enabled tools.

You will gain hands-on experience indigital analytics and content intelligence exposure toglobal brands and multi-market digital strategies training onsocial listening platforms data analysis tools and reporting methodologies opportunity to work in aninternational fast-paced media and marketing environment.

Key Growth Areas

  • Content & Social Performance Analysis
    Support the analysis of digital and social media performance monitoring key metrics such as engagement reach views conversation volume and sentiment across different platforms.
  • Content Insights & Trend Identification
    Analyze content performance to identify top-performing formats narratives and emerging trends providing insights to support content optimization and strategy.
  • Web Listening & Consumer Insights
    Assist in the analysis of online conversations consumer sentiment and emerging topics across social media forums blogs and news platforms.
  • Reporting & Data Visualization
    Support the creation of reports dashboards and presentations integrating insights generated through both traditional analytics tools and AI-enabled platforms.
  • Competitive & Market Analysis
    Conduct benchmark analyses to understand brand positioning content strategies and digital performance compared to competitors.
  • Collaboration with Strategy & Client Teams
    Work closely with data analysts strategists and account teams to support data-driven storytelling and campaign evaluation.

About you

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing Communication Economics Data Analytics Statistics or related fields
  • Strong interest in digital marketing social media and data analysis
  • Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram TikTok YouTube Facebook X etc.) and their metrics
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel Google Sheets); experience with Power BI Tableau or similar tools is a plus
  • Curiosity for digital trends online communities and content performance
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear insights
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English
