Honda of Frontenac is looking fora full-time Parts Counter person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills automotive dealer experience (Honda preferred) and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ability to get along with the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist all customers (external and internal) in selecting required parts in a friendly professional and efficient manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and counter inquiries providing price quotes and other information as needed
- Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing matches the estimate
- Pull and fill orders from stock and help other team members pull their orders
- Stock the shelves including tire racks
- Put away the daily stock order in the correct bins
- Notify the parts manager or assistant manager of out-of-stock parts
- Keep service advisors informed about parts from other dealers/retailers
- Pull orders and ensure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number
- Follow department policy and instructions on the special ordering of parts
- Receive payment from retail and wholesale customers if applicable
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and able to maintain a professional image and demeanor
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Automotive dealer experience; Honda preferred
- CDK experience is a plus as is experience with CCC CollisionLink/RepairLink OPS Xtime and other programs
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Must be able to pass background drug and driving record tests
