Position Overview:

This position is responsible for supporting the supply chain through maintaining accurate records of supplier quality activities supplier nonconformance and performance monitoring promoting continuous improvement coordinating and supporting supplier audits and visits and act as a liaison between the organization and all suppliers to resolve concerns in a timely fashion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the supplier quality engineer and the supply chain to track and maintain supplier nonconformances and monitor supplier performance

  • Develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships

  • Work with the organization to facilitate closure and verification of supplier MRBs

  • Maintain excellent communication and working relationships with all departments within the company

  • Assist the supply chain leaders in various functions as requested

  • Contribute to supply chain continuous improvement

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum AS or associate degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain or quality management systems

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in an ISO manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards

  • Knowledge with internal and external auditing to ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

  • Knowledge of problem solving and root cause analysis

  • Knowledge of ERP systems

  • Knowledge of manufacturing drawings and specifications

Job Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with changing demands in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding of supply chain and quality management systems and continuous improvement methodology

  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers

  • Proficiency in IFS Cloud enterprise resource planning system

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment; able to change direction; remain flexible

  • Strong organizational time management and data analysis skills

  • Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
