Job Summary

Title: Respiratory Therapist/RRT
Location: Herrin IL
Duration:13 weeks
Shift: 12*3

Weekly Gross: $2000- $2400(Based on experience)

Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients working collaboratively with physicians nurses and the healthcare team to evaluate treat and monitor respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
  • Deliver physician-ordered respiratory therapies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
  • Participate in patient discharge planning and education
  • Share knowledge with staff and students
  • Accept reassignment to other units as needed

Work Schedule & Call

  • Shift: Night shift(exact timing TBD)
  • On-Call: Minimum 2 times per month

Specialty

  • Primary: Cardiopulmonary
  • Sub-specialty: Respiratory Therapy

Education

  • Associates Degree required

Licensure & Certifications

  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
  • Active Illinois License
  • BLS / BCLS
  • NRP-MHC

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Active state license required
