Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings common areas parking locations and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances hallways and other assigned areas assisting with access control visitor interactions and/or direction requests while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
• Support daily campus operations by following post orders communicating with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives and assisting with incident response during events classes and other scheduled activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
