You will actively participate in safety initiatives report potential hazards and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory Assist with vegetation management and participate in Detailed Site Assessments including the evaluation of landscapes soils and soil and water samples and survey reclamation Reclamation Specialist in the preparation and organizing of soils and vegetation the completion of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) under the guidance of senior team surface water and ground water monitoring activitiesParticipate in reclamation programs by providing field support and assisting with technical with the team on remediation and reclamation projects in Northern AB including field data collection and in developing reclamation work plans and preparing drafts for reclamation in interpreting analytical results by organizing data and preparing summaries for review by senior scientists. Commit to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established health safety and quality standards. Actively participate in safety initiatives report potential hazards and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a program of Land Reclamation Forestry Environmental Biology or Natural Science ProgramRelevant coursework in soil and plant identification with knowledge of reclamation and contamination/remediation is an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint). Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
