Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Install Topcon machine control systems on construction equipment including dozers excavators graders and other machines
Mount GNSS antennas control boxes IMUs sensors wiring harnesses and displays
Route wiring harnesses and ensure clean professional installations
Perform system calibration and testing to ensure proper operation
Troubleshoot electrical hardware or positioning issues
Work with customers to explain and train on system operations and basic functions
Assist with machine control setup including base stations radios and corrections
Document installations and maintain service records
Travel to customer job sites when needed for installation or service Qualifications
Mechanical or electrical aptitude
Experience working with construction equipment heavy machinery or automotive electrical systems preferred
Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation instructions
Comfortable using hand tools drills and basic electrical tools
Basic computer skills (software setup and firmware updates)
Ability to work outdoors and around heavy equipment
Valid drivers license Preferred Experience
Experience with Topcon Trimble or Leica machine control systems
GNSS/GPS knowledge
Heavy equipment operation experience
Construction or surveying background
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to climb on equipment and work at heights
Ability to work in outdoor/ jobsite environments
