Job Summary
Jabil is seeking a Facilities Housekeeping Team Lead to work in Byhalia MS.
How will you make an impact
As a Facilities Housekeeping Team Lead with Jabil you will work under limited supervision coordinating daily activities of Facilities Support team members and overseeing routine maintenance operations and housekeeping personnel.
What will you do
Develop motivate and challenge all Housekeeping Team Members to perform to their full potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedback.
Ensure Housekeeping Team Members are thoroughly trained and performing their assigned functions.
Inform or instruct Housekeeping Team Members of any deviations or changes.
Ensure that assigned work areas are kept clean and organized in order to minimize hazards.
Clean assigned areas in plant and office using power equipment such as floor sweepers polishers and vacuum cleaners.
Scrub or mop floors.
Clean office partitions windows drinking fountains washrooms toilets and lavatories.
Replenish hygiene and break room supplies.
Remove waste and disposable material throughout the plant.
Notify supervisor of any problems within their area.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
How will you get here
Education and Experience:
High Diploma or equivalent required.
2-3 years in a Housekeeping type role in a warehouse environment.
A minimum of 1 year of experience leading a team.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication Skills both verbal and written.
Knowledge and/or Experience handling and inventorying hazardous cleaning chemicals strongly preferred.
Experience and knowledge cleaning small biohazard spills (ex. Blood or other similar type spills).
