Job Description:
TheRadiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)is responsible for performing imaging proceduresprimarilyMRI scanswhile ensuring patient safety proper imaging protocols and efficient department operations.
Key Responsibilities
- PerformMRI imaging procedures
- UtilizePACS systemeffectively
- Verify scan protocols with Radiologist
- MaintainIV/contrast competency
- Assist with clerical and departmental tasks
- Ensure quality imaging and patient safety
Specialty
- Primary:Diagnostic Imaging
- Sub-specialty:Radiologic Technologist
Education
- Associates degree in Radiologyorrelevant certification
Licensure & Certifications
- ARRT Certification (Radiology / MRI)
- IEMA Licensure
- CPR (BLS)
Experience
- Minimum2 years required
- 1 year technical experience preferred
