We are a dynamic brand with a strong reputation for doing the right things and doing them the Opportunity360 Engineering & Environmental Consulting is seeking a driven detail-oriented professional to join our team in a temporary position as a Quality Controller supporting critical infrastructure projects at remote construction sites across Northern Canada. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in dynamic field environments and takes pride in ensuring the highest standards of quality safety and this position you will play a key role in delivering reliable high-quality testing and inspection services. Youll work closely with clients contractors and project teams to uphold rigorous quality control standards and help drive successful project outcomes in some of Canadas most unique and rewarding a Difference Conducting soil testing for grain size standard proctor tests compaction testing and concrete testing and carrying out quality assurance reviews of test results for reportingTroubleshooting real time compliance issues in the field and monitoring non-compliance protocols and liaising with client and contractor representatives and staff to ensure that all quality issues are documented and resolvedManaging the on-site testing laboratories at remote construction sites Carry out site-wide inspection and testing operationsReview and implement project Inspection & Testing Plans (ITP) and other plans and specifications to cover quality control requirements for various scope elements and all project phasesLead and champion a culture of excellence ensuring adherence to the highest standards of health safety and quality across all areas of operationProactively identify and mitigate risks while fostering continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory and external client requirementsShowcase your Education & Expertise A technical diploma from an accredited post-secondary school in Canada A Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation (preferred)Detailed orientedA valid Class 5 Drivers License and a clean driving recordA strong team player who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and sharing knowledgeHaving a good sense of humour and strong admiration of our Mullet Culture is always an assetShare in our ValuesOur shared values and culture play a crucial role in shaping the identity and success of our team.
