Job Summary
CKHA is looking for more physicians to join our wonderful team! We have 2 incredible NPs supporting the Complex Continuing Care (CCC) Rehab and Medicine units and with 6 Hospitalists rounding per day (0800-1600) and an average of 10-15 acute patients.
We have added a nocturnist shift to our Emergency Department to act as MRP for patients needing to be admitted after 11pm.
The Basics: Call Payment and Schedule
Remuneration is $1300 per week day and $1750 per weekend day or statutory holiday worked. All call will be paid a $487.94 HOCC stipend directly to you. This equals to $10000 per week.
Call will be shared equally amongst all Hospitalists on service. There are two calls per day one for Acute Medicine floors and admissions from the ER from 2pm-11pm and one for the Rehab and CCC floors. Physicians will get one of each call per week on average.
You can work as little as 1 week per month (Monday to Sunday). If you want to join us full time we can offer 2 weeks per month.

A Bit about CKHA:
CKHA is a 200-bed hospital located in Southwestern Ontario that offers a full range of medical and diagnostic services including CT MRI and 24- hour laboratory diagnostic imaging and respiratory therapy services. We also offer specialty services in Internal Medicine Emergency Medicine ENT Orthopaedic Urology General Surgery Anesthesia Psychiatry and OB/GYN.
Requirements
Family or Internal Medicine physicians with inpatient care experience and an independent CPSO licence wanted. Awesome people preferred! New grads or upcoming grads are welcome!
