What Youll Do:
If you work in finance you know those numbers wont count themselves. And we need seasoned professionals to keep everything humming along. Our Regional Director of Finance oversees all financial functions and associates in a cluster of hotels. From directing strategy to overseeing the provision of financial data your efforts will ensure that the hotels are making informed decisions and operating as effectively as possible.
Here are some of the tasks youll be responsible for regularly:
- Evaluate property expenses and expense controls.
- Review and audit Balance Sheets on a quarterly basis.
- Coordinate and conduct semi-annual property audits.
- Provide guidance and training to property staff accountants controllers and operational staff on mandatory accounting practices. Help hire and train accounting associates.
- Participate in prelim calls and financial reviews of each property.
Where Youve Been:
You have a bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field. Additionally you have at least 3 years of experience as a Controller. Knowledge of Excel is a must. Most importantly you are someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to coordinate with associates across multiple departments.
