As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Leesburg VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this people-first role you will support patients visitors and staff while working as part of an agile reliable and innovative team that values integrity and teamwork every day.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility including entrances hallways parking areas and perimeter locations helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious behavior unattended items and/or policy violations.
• Assist with de-escalation directions and general assistance requests while maintaining awareness of surroundings and following Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
