Job Summary

The Lube Tech will be responsible for performing oil changes and other related services in a timely and efficient manner. You must follow instructions while adhering to safety and maintenance standards. The Lube Tech ensure the 18 wheelers are in safe running condition.

Lube Tech Duties and Responsibilities

Perform oil and lubricant changes as needed.
Inspect and replace air filters and clean radiators.
Check and top off all fluids including engine oil transmission fluid power steering fluid antifreeze and brake fluid.
Perform repairs to tires and change tires.
Inspect vehicles for safety and identify potential repairs.
Clean lubricate and adjust parts and components.
Fill up the trucks with fuel as needed.
Conduct visual inspections of vehicles.
Comply with safety procedures.

Qualifications

Must pass a preemployment physical and drug Screen
Must pass a background check
Preferred high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable
Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus
Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) basic math skills as the job demands
Diesel Mechanic school DOT maintenance or certification preferred
Previous experience with hydraulic repairs
must have diesel engine experience.

Equipment & Tools: Yard equipment electrical Safety equipment hand tools and PPE specialized for electricians.
