Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on and business-oriented Financial Controller to take a key role in our organization and contribute to our journey in enabling smart cities with a strong focus on sustainability. As a key member of our team you will report directly to the Managing Director and actively participate in shaping the financial direction of the business.
To be successful in this role you must enjoy working closely with the business and be comfortable owning the full financial cycle. This includes everything from day-to-day bookkeeping and group reporting to monthly and annual closings budgeting and financial analysis. You should be structured detail-oriented with the ability to also zoom out and confident in translating financial data into actionable insights that support key business decisions.
The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small agile organization where priorities can shift quickly and collaboration is essential. You will work closely with colleagues and counterparts across multiple legal entities and countries benefiting from their support while also contributing to analyses and projects outside of traditional finance tasks. Flexibility accountability and a proactive mindset are crucial to succeeding and growing in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day book keeping Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Weekly reporting to the Fagerhult Group
- Monthly Quarterly Annually closings
- Annual report and collaboration with the companys Auditor
- Financial analyses and follow up according to set KPIs
- Support the MD and management team with annual budget process
- Analyze and improve internal processes including setup in the ERP
Professional Experience and Competencies:
- Solid experience and understanding of financial book keeping controlling and reporting
- Experience from working in a small organization where a wide variety of tasks need attention
- Experience from operating within a large and international group of companies
- A general interest in technology and technical products is seen as a plus

Qualifications:
- University degree in relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in similar role or experience from several roles in finance
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Experience from working and configuring setup in ERPs (Fortnox seen as a plus)
