Job Summary

The Portage County Engineer is accepting applications from persons interested in the full-time position of Highway Worker II. The selected candidate will operate medium to heavy duty dump trucks and a variety of light and medium motorized equipment to assist with the maintenance construction and repair of county roads bridges and culverts; performs other duties as required.

Rate of pay is $25.50per hour with paid time off including vacation sick leave and holidays. Benefits include health dental and vision.
