Capital Hiltonis looking for their next Linen Room Runner to join the Housekeeping Department! Our historic hotel is in the heart of the nations capital less than a mile from McPherson Sq metro station.
The ideal candidate has open availability with schedules able to stand for 8 hours able to lift push and pull up to 100lbs can work in a fast pace environment and is customer service driven.

Schedule: Full Availability and Flexibility with schedules is needed with primarily AM shifts (7am - 3:30pm) Weekdays Weekends Holidays.

Pay Rate: $30.25 per hour

What will I be doing

As a Linen Runner you would be responsible for distributing clean linens throughout the hotel in continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Transport clean linen from the laundry department to designated storage areas.

• Replenish linen supplies in housekeeping linen closets and guest rooms as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen storage areas.

• Assist with inventory control of linen items.

• Report any linen shortages or damages to the supervisor.

• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assisting with the pickup and delivery of laundry bins through the main lobby whenever the freight elevator is out of service.
