(Re)Insurance Placement Broker Mortgage and Structured Credit

We are seeking a highly skilled (re)insurance placement broker to join our London team at Guy Carpenter specialising in structured credit and treaty reinsurance (facultative experience a plus). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The successful candidate will also focus on building insurance and reinsurance capacity. This role demands a strong blend of operational excellence deep product knowledge and effective sales and marketing capabilities to secure (re)insurance capacity.

We will count on you to:

Manage and execute (re)insurance placements.
Develop and expand insurance capacity for consortia.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients to understand risk profiles and placement needs.
Drive sales and marketing initiatives using a relationship-driven and market-driven approach.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends products and regulatory developments in the banking and (re)insurance space.
Ensure operational excellence in broking processes and client service delivery.

What you need to have:

Demonstrable experience in (re)insurance broking or ceded reinsurance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
High level of professionalism and client focus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of both relationship management and data analytics.

What makes you stand out:

Proven track record in credit lines (preferably structured credit and mortgage reinsurance placements).
CFA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
