We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for our companies in both Spain and the U.K.. Under the supervision of the Central Finance team based in Paris this role will ensure the reliability of financial information and support strategic decision-making through accurate reporting actionable analyses and business partnering. Key responsibilities include the management of a Financial Controller as well as:
- FP&A
- Lead the budgeting/forecasting and reporting processes
- Collaborate closely with the General Managers cross-functional teams and other partners to drive performance and strategic objectives
- Support strategic initiatives including M&A activities and other projects
- Follow-up on aged debt
- Accounting
- Support and review the preparation of accurate financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet) in accordance with local GAAP standards regulations and Group policies
- Coordinate with internal and external accounting teams tax advisors and auditors
- Ensure tax compliance and support their computation as well as payment in coordination with external advisors (incl. monthly VAT declarations Corporate Income Tax & Withholding)
- Support the implementation of new systems in particular in case of compliance needs in coordination with internal and external partners
- Review and support the collection and payment processes
- Perform ad-hoc accounting and administrative activities
- Treasury
- Monitor treasury and ensure cash needs are met
- Validate payment batches
- Coordinate and manage the relationships with banks
This position is a permanent contract based in Barcelona with business trips expected to the U.K..
Qualifications :
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Strong command of general accounting principles and financial fundamentals
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a solid business mindset
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to operate autonomously and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of rigor with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience and interest in people management
- 4-8 years of relevant professional experience including in similar roles and 1-2 years of experience in accounting and/or audit
- Proven experience in financial reporting performance analysis and KPI monitoring
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with ERP and/or EPM systems (Workday and Pigment experiences are a plus)
