Job Summary
Are you passionate about telecom and excited by the evolution of Radio Access Networks We are now looking for a Senior RAN Network Engineer to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of mobile connectivity at Telia.
In this role you will be part of a highly skilled RAN team responsible for software change management and third-level support working closely with customers vendors and stakeholders to ensure the best possible network experience. You willoperatein a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment wherenew technologies challenges and development opportunities are part of everyday work.
Whatyoulldo:
You will contribute to the development stability and continuous improvement of Radio Access Network operations while supporting knowledge-sharing and collaboration across the organization.
Provide third-level support and manage software changes within the RAN domain
Collaborate with vendors internal experts and stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges
Contribute to knowledge-building initiatives through training guidelines and development projects
Support network quality improvements and operational excellence across RAN environments
Participate in technical evaluations of new services features and technologies

Solid understanding of Radio Access Networks particularly Ericsson base stations and related transmission technologies
Experience with node configuration in Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) is valuable
Familiarity with scripting technologies such as Amos Bash or Python is beneficial
Understanding of RAN quality KPIs such as MCDR Accessibility Retainability and MDS
General knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP) for troubleshooting transport networks
Experience with automation or legacy technologies such as 2G/BSC is considered an advantage
Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Fluency in English both spoken and written
