Sr. Associate, Strategic Finance G&A

This role will be based in Sunnyvale or San Francisco.

Our G&A Strategic Finance team is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Associate to help drive strategy reporting and decision support for LinkedIns G&A functions with an emphasis on the GTO team (Global Talent Organization). This role will support the business in their efforts to empower employees to do the best work of their careers. This role offers strong exposure to senior leaders across GTO Finance and other cross functional teams.

The Senior Associate will play a critical role in advancing GTOs priorities by shaping strategy and translating key initiatives into clear executiveready narratives. This role will develop datadriven roadmaps for GTO initiatives assess and optimize peoplefocused programs and operations through performance insights and support roadmap prioritization based on quantified impact. The ideal candidate can move seamlessly between strategic planning and handson execution drives results across senior stakeholders takes strong ownership in navigating complex and technical problem spaces and brings rigorous analytical thinking and strong business acumen to deliver measurable outcomes.
 

Responsibilities:

 Strategic Thinking

•  Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with some support from more senior team members.

• Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints.

Stakeholder Influence

•  Communicates implications of work (e.g. forecasts analyses trends) to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.

•  Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with limited guidance.

•  Synthesizes problems and communicates point of view to support decision-making on issues related to individual work in smaller group discussions.

Execution & Organization

• Communicates with stakeholders to answer a wide variety of complex questions.

• Proactively identifies obstacles and works to unblock them with minimal support.

Performance Management

• Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous or complex business questions deriving actionable insights from results.

• Working with cross functional partners including our COE (Center of Excellence) team to validate financial outputs planning and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business Business Analytics Finance or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance finance accounting management consulting investment banking or related field OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in the technology industry 

• Background in consulting strategy or operational finance experience 

• Excellent leadership communicationanalytical teamwork organizational and interpersonal skills 

• Exhibits thought leadership and manages relationships across a wide range of stakeholders

• Adaptable and able to react quickly to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment 

• Ability to seek information independently connect the dots and consider options for improvement 

• Proven ability to coordinate and execute projects independently effectively manage time prioritize tasks and autonomously perform within tight deadlines

The pay range for this role is $98000 to $158000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
