Job Description
As a Security Officer - Driver Checkpoint in CARMEL CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a resort setting you will manage access control points greet guests and staff verify credentials and help maintain smooth entry and exit flow. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license supporting patrol-style rounds across the property and quick response to security-related concerns. You will deliver customer-focused service while working with a reliable agile team that leads with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests visitors and staff while carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific access control policies at a hotel and resort location.
- Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying credentials issuing visitor passes and directing deliveries rideshare and service providers to approved areas.
- Monitor access control systems alarms and CCTV as assigned and report unusual activity hazards and/or policy concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including guest issues lost and found matters trespass concerns and medical calls and complete required documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas back-of-house corridors parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and support order on property.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
