Key Responsibilities
- Track analyze and report on the financial status and performance of assigned projects.
- Ensure financial procedures controls and policies are established and followed to meet all contractual and compliance obligations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with local state and corporate policies.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of revenue recognition project invoicing journal entry preparation and general accounting principles.
- Support management and clients by translating financial data into clear understandable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Perform month-end close activities ensuring accuracy completeness and timeliness of financial records.
- Process payroll manage accounts payable and prepare and issue accounts receivable invoices.
- Develop and maintain project budgets forecasts and cash flow analyses across multiple funding sources and communicate overall contract financial health.
- Administer supplier contract terms verify compliance and review and process payments.
- Prepare financial performance reviews and maintain accurate up-to-date project financial documentation.
- Support fiscal operations including financial planning fund management accounting reporting and disbursement activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or a related field with 3 years of accounting experience and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
- Prior experience with cost accounting government fund accounting and/or Oracle strongly preferred.
- Self-motivated adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across teams.
- Highly driven and action-oriented with proven success managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solver who takes pride in identifying and resolving issues related to business practices quality and internal controls.
