The Park Hotel Kenmare is one of Irelands most prestigious five-star luxury destinations renowned for its exceptional hospitality refined atmosphere and dedication to excellence. We are seeking a professional passionate and customer-focused Bartender to join our incredible team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding bar service crafting high-quality beverages and creating memorable guest experiences that reflect the elegance and reputation of The Park Hotel Kenmare.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails wines spirits beers and non-alcoholic drinks to the highest standards.
- Provide warm attentive and professional service to guests in line with the hotels luxury hospitality standards.
- Maintain expert knowledge of cocktails wines spirits and bar menu offerings.
- Offer recommendations and engage guests to enhance their overall experience.
- Ensure the bar area is clean organised and fully stocked at all times.
- Adhere to all health safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory including restocking and reporting shortages.
- Handle cash card payments and billing accurately.
- Work collaboratively with the restaurant and hotel team to ensure seamless service.
- Uphold responsible service of alcohol guidelines.
- Contribute to the creation of new cocktails and seasonal drink menus when required.
Qualifications :
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender in a high-end bar hotel or restaurant environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails spirits and wines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices.
