Fresher DevOps Engineer

Your key responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD Jenkins).
• Support the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Help manage cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP) under supervision.
• Assist in monitoring system performance and setting up logging/alerting tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK).
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
• Support containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Assist in implementing security best practices in deployment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot basic system and deployment issues.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Leader/Manager.

Qualifications :

Your key qualifications:

General requirements:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field with less than one (01) year of experience.
• Strong IT background with a GPA of 7.5 (Please attach transcripts when submitting your CV).
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency (both written and verbal).
• Minimum 3-month internship experience in software engineering is required.
• Strong self-learning ability with a proactive growth-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.

Technical requirements:

• Good understanding of DevOps concepts CI/CD and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with at least one scripting/programming language (e.g. Python Bash or JavaScript).
• Solid hands-on experience with Docker and foundational knowledge of Kubernetes (pods deployments basic scaling)
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line operations.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible) is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Awareness of monitoring/logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK) is a plus.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (HTTP DNS TCP/IP) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience through university projects labs or internships related to DevOps or system operations is an advantage.
