Job Summary
Essential Responsibilities:
Travel to field locations to perform cathodic protection surveys including annual test lead surveys CIS diagnostic testing and commissioning work
Maintain calibrate and troubleshoot survey equipment (multimeters data loggers pipe locators) and complete minor test lead/post repairs
Locate and stake pipelines while ensuring all work meets client specifications and industry standards
Support CP remedial work and other field activities as required
Qualifications:
2 years of cathodic protection or related field experience is an asset
Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract
NACE CP1 or CP2 certification and Enform Rectifier training considered assets
Strong communication computer (MS Word/Excel) and independent work skills
Work Conditions:
Extensive travel and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Ability to walk 5 km per day in rough terrain
MondayFriday schedule with potential overtime and weekend work
Frequent overnight stays away from home may be required; CLAC benefits provided
